2. The Data We Collect To provide accurate diagnostic services, we collect and process the following categories of data:

Identity & Contact Data: Name, date of birth, gender, home address, email address, and phone number.

Medical & Special Category Data: This includes “Health Data” such as your medical history, GP/Consultant details, and ultrasound reports.

Genetic & Biological Data: Clinical data resulting from biological samples (e.g., semen or blood), including DNA fragmentation results.

Financial Data: Payment card details – we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Technical Data: IP address and browser type collected via our website to improve user experience.
3. Our Lawful Basis for Processing Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases to handle your data:

Contract: To fulfill the diagnostic services you have purchased.

Provision of Health Care (Article 9(2)(h)): This allows us to process your sensitive “Special Category” health and genetic data for medical diagnosis.

4. How We Store and Share Your Data

Sharing: We never sell your data. We only share information with Accredited Reference Laboratories, your Healthcare Providers (with explicit consent), Regulatory Bodies (CQC/HFEA) if required, and secure Service Providers (such as our booking platform), who are contractually bound to protect your data.
5. Data Retention In accordance with the Records Management Code of Practice for Health and Social Care, we retain adult medical records for a minimum of 8 years following your last interaction with us. After this period, records are securely destroyed or anonymized.
