TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between EMBRYO GENESIS Ltd (trading as Fertility Testing Centre, "we", "us") and the patient ("you"). By booking a test, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Scope of Service
Fertility Testing Centre is an independent diagnostic laboratory.

We provide laboratory analysis and clinical reports only.

We do not provide assisted reproduction treatments (e.g., IVF, IUI), medical prescriptions, or clinical gynaecological care.

Our reports are for informational purposes and should be discussed with a qualified medical professional for a full diagnosis.
2. Bookings, Payments & Identification

Identification: You must present a valid Photo ID (Passport or Driving Licence) at your appointment. For regulatory and fraud-prevention reasons, we cannot accept samples without verified identification.

Payment: All fees must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring the contact details provided (email and phone) are correct, as these will be used to deliver your results.
3. Clinical Requirements & Preparation (The "Abstinence" Rule)
To ensure the clinical accuracy of your results (specifically for Sperm Analysis and DNA Fragmentation):

Abstinence Period: You must observe an ejaculation abstinence period of no less than 2 days and no more than 7 days prior to your test.

Failure to Comply: If you have not adhered to this window, your results may be inaccurate. If you choose to proceed anyway, we accept no liability for the clinical utility of the report.
4. Sample Viability & Transport

Clinic Collection: We recommend producing your sample on-site in our private facilities to ensure maximum viability.

Home Collection: If you choose to produce a sample at home, it must be delivered to our laboratory at Hexagon Tower within 60 minutes of production.

Temperature Control: Samples must be kept at body temperature during transit.

Rejection Policy: We reserve the right to reject samples that are late, leaking, or compromised by temperature shock. In such cases, a re-test fee will apply to cover laboratory and administrative costs.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

More than 48 Hours’ Notice: You may reschedule or cancel for a full refund.

Less than 48 Hours’ Notice: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.

Non-Attendance: If you fail to attend your appointment ("No-Show"), your booking fee is forfeited in full.
6. Results & Delivery

Turnaround Times: All stated turnaround times (e.g., 24–48 hours) are estimates. While we meet these targets in the vast majority of cases, we are not liable for delays caused by technical equipment failure or external laboratory logistics.

Delivery: Results are issued via our secure patient portal or via encrypted email.
7. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services—whether in contract, tort, or breach of statutory duty—is strictly limited to the total price paid for the specific test purchased.

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to, the cost of cancelled fertility treatment cycles at other clinics.
8. Zero Tolerance Policy

We are committed to a safe and respectful environment. We operate a zero-tolerance policy regarding abusive, threatening, or aggressive behaviour toward our staff. We reserve the right to refuse service and require individuals to leave the premises immediately without a refund.
